Keynote Speaker: Carl Grant
Carl Grant, Associate Dean for Knowledge Services and the Chief Technology Officer at the University of Oklahoma Libraries in Norman, Oklahoma, will be our keynote speaker. Carl has an extensive background in the information industry and has worked for many years in the corporate enterprise that supports library services with leadership positions at Ex Libris, VTLS, Ameritech Library Services, and Innovative Interfaces. His experiences in these venues make Carl uniquely qualified to lead the University of Oklahoma Libraries into a new era of utilizing the latest technologies to facilitate learning and research at the university.
Jane Burke, Vice President, Market Development for the Workflow Solutions unit of ProQuest, is one of the executive sponsors of Intota™, ProQuest’s web-scale management solution. In this role, she is providing strategic leadership and working closely with the development partners to deliver a world class library collection management solution. Since joining the company in 2005, Ms. Burke has served in senior leadership roles for ProQuest.
Clive Wright is the VP of SaaS Innovation, US and Canada at EBSCO. Previously, Clive managed the Content Licensing and Publisher Relations group, consulting with publishers all over the world. Previous to that, Clive worked with academic, medical, government, corporate, public and school libraries in California, Nevada, and the United Kingdom and Eire.
Jeff Scott serves as OCLC’s Library Services Consultant for the Southwestern United States. Prior to joining OCLC, he was a Strategic Account Manager and Sales Consultant for Gale Cengage Learning for eleven years, and a Library Consultant for Baker & Taylor for five. Jeff holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
